The open international architectural competition on the design of a new art museum building in the center of Tampere next to a historic industrial area. Our proposal proposed to create a monolithic volume that was divided diagonally in order to open the park behind the building to the city, as well as create an access to the building. A total of 472 proposals were submitted and ours was not selected.
