Starting from a music premises on the ground floor, an art studio and gallery was designed. The space was completely stripped back, leaving an open shell. The perimeter was then redrawn to correct the irregular plan geometry, creating a series of service alcoves — storage, bathroom, office — and freeing a clear, diaphanous space for exhibition and work. The decision was made to preserve the essential character of the space: exposed concrete beams and columns, with a minimal material palette — micro-cement flooring and pine joinery — chosen for their understated presence. Total gross floor area: 183 m².
