Renovation of the Molí Gran farmhouse in L'Estany. The house, built beside the village's old mill, sits within a privileged natural setting surrounded by the typical vegetation of the Bages region. The project was guided by two principles: opening the house to the garden, and reorganising the interior layout while respecting the original volume and using original materials — stone and timber. The design worked from the outside in. The whole house was redistributed through the garden, recovering and creating new openings to the exterior, resolving the various level changes by levelling the ground floor, and dividing the plan into two zones: bedrooms facing the rear garden, and the living areas — sitting room, dining room and kitchen — facing the main garden. Two separate accesses were created: vehicle access via a gravel path along the side of the garden, and pedestrian access through the mezzanine level (entrance hall and study) and the garden. Surface area: 118 m².
