The brief called for reorganising pedestrian and vehicle access to a historic school in a protected urban setting, where car traffic and parking had made safe access for children difficult. The solution established a clear and safe pedestrian route while rebalancing the space shared between pedestrians and vehicles — all within the constraints of the existing historic architectural character.
