The project created a duplex apartment by connecting a top-floor flat with the underroof space of a mid-terrace building. The plan is divided into two zones: the daytime area on the upper floor and the sleeping area on the floor below. The underroof volume was opened up by exposing the original concrete beam structure and revealing the natural fall of the roof slopes. Two terraces were created, enclosed by large glazed panels that guarantee natural light, with a free plan layout below — kitchen open to the living and dining room and study space. The central staircase defines the boundaries between the different parts of the plan. Total gross floor area: 185 m².
