The project involved designing a small residential building of 10 dwellings on a main street in the town centre of Begues. The town council stressed the importance of preserving the architectural coherence of the streetscape, and the main façade has been designed to reflect the scale and detailing of the surrounding traditional buildings. To support activity in the town centre, the ground floor includes small commercial premises, while access to the apartments is from the rear, onto a secondary street. The building has an efficient plan, with a central ventilated staircase giving access to two units per floor on each side, each oriented towards the adjacent streets. The top floor contains two additional units, each with a private terrace. Construction began in early 2025.
