nyestudio is an architecture and design studio founded in Barcelona in 2007 by architects Gianfranco La Cognata and Tuomo Jauhiainen. We create projects where quality and design guide every decision — always with attention to coherence, sustainability and the specific context of each place.
Every project is developed in close collaboration with the client. There are no standard solutions: each commission is shaped around the needs, ambitions and budget of the people who trust us with it.
The studio is led by Tuomo Jauhiainen, a Finnish-born architect licensed in Catalonia with over twenty years of experience, and Lluís Avellan, a Barcelona-based interior designer. We work with a trusted team of professionals to deliver a complete response to every project.
Depending on the needs of each project, we work with a trusted network of specialists — structural engineers, building services consultants, landscape architects — to deliver a complete, coordinated response.
