The brief was to design a long timber dining table that combined structural rigidity with a sense of visual lightness. The 10 mm steel legs were precision laser-cut and positioned diagonally at the table's corners to maximise stability while minimising their footprint. The tabletop is 30 mm plywood veneered in oak, with the plywood edges left exposed and bevelled to reduce visual weight. Prototype dimensions: 2.7 × 0.95 m.
