Savallà del Comtat is a small Catalan village built entirely in traditional stone, on a hillside with steep level changes between streets. The project aimed to improve access and use of the house garden, and to repair the stone retaining walls, which were in poor condition. The small garden was divided into two levels. The intervention connected them with an external staircase and created a stone porch on the lower terrace, allowing the upper garden to be extended and adding a new outdoor leisure space. The porch was built as part of the reconstruction and consolidation of the existing stone and retaining walls, with a careful approach in a planning-protected area.
